Jazz pianist Mark Davis is active in both the role of performer and educator.
His busy schedule includes frequent solo and group performances
in the Milwaukee area as well as teaching jazz to high school
students, college music majors and adults. He also performs
at many private events and corporate functions.
All of these experiences work to fulfill Mark's personal goal of promoting
jazz music to young and old.
Jazz performances by Mark Davis combine a strong sense of tradition
with modern sensibilities. Backed by a hard-swinging rhythm section, he
features unique arrangements of standards as well as originals that bear the
influence of jazz icons such as Bill Evans and Bud Powell. |
